TLAMELO MALEBE MUSIC

Born in Ramotswa ,Tlamelo Malebe Music a.k.a (Mohumi) fell in love with music at atender age of 9 years growing up among his siblings who also are music fanatics.Hebegan writing songs at the age of 10,with having to get recognition from his peers duringthat time ,perfoming in talent shows and other local competitions.

The Ramotswa native began his career in 2013 and his First radio song is titled (Candle

light) a song which debuted on Duma Fm and later made it to Yarona Fm making an

appearance on (The Bubbling under) playlist,in January 2016. The music video for Candle

Light made it to Access Tv and Botswana Television (Mid week Playlist) .The song had a

larger appreciation across Ramotswa and in some parts of Gaborone.

Later that year Tlamelo Malebe released another single titled (Mmaboard) and then later

another single titled *Mo Sekeleng*,his last song under Hardgee Music, a song which also

made it to Duma Fm.The mo sekeleng video had also made a Buzz on social Media.Espe-

cially among the University of Botswana Students ; his current occupation.

2017 came with Tlamelo having to start to reach other media outlets like the Midweek Sun

Newspaper and The Weekend Post.By the dawn of April Tlamelo Malebe Started working

very closely with a new Producer (Pizzer) where he was able to record his first ever

mixtape titled (Watching Success).The mixtape had 9 songs inclusion of candle light and

Mo SEKELENG of which were regarded to be the lead songs of the project.The mixtape

sold over 200 Cd's. And Tlamelo was able to win an Award for (BEST NEW COMING ARTIST)

at the (RAMOTSWA ANNUAL YOUTH AWARDS).By the dawn of 2017 Tlamelo released

another single titled *BASCO* a song about the lifestyle in University Of Botswana.The song

became an anthem for the University of Botswana Students.Having Tlamelo increasing his

popularity among the UB students.

By March 2017 Tlamelo unexpectedly released a 13 track mixtape titled (KE RATWA KE

BATHO) with an inclusion of 4 covers (Blue Notes,(Go tla Siama) heavy heart and Wanna

Know covers) all instrumentals being courtesy of Meek Mill,songs his second favourite

rapper.Basco was the lead song of the whole project.The entire project was produced by

his close friend and producer (Pizzer).

Tlamelo has recently released the Basco music video under a new management and he
s working on his first ever album (Katlego) which is set to be released by 2018. And he also
looking forward to release some songs that will reach a larger audience and other bigger
media outlets,with now having to feature other well celebrated acts over Botswana.
